David “Pops” Alexander Ah Nee Sr., 70, of Keaau died May 31 at home. Born in Honolulu, he was a retired construction worker for Craig and Co. Celebration of life service 10 a.m. Saturday, July 18, at Thy Word Ministries Faith Center of Hilo, 2085 Awapuhi St. Scattering of ashes Oct. 4 on Oahu. Survived by mother, Jennie (Paoa) Ah Nee of Oahu; sons, David “Braddah” Ah Nee Jr. of Puna, Peter (Loddie) Ah Nee of Mountain View and Leroy (Corinne) Ah Nee of Keaau; stepson, Herbert Coombs of Oahu; daughters, Claudine (Donna) Ah Nee and Lloydine Jardine of Mountain View, Doraine (Titus) Borja of Maui, Jennie (Patrick) Ah Nee and Jamie (Lance) Benevides of Keaau, Lucy (Keoki) Castro of Glenwood, Jamary (Bobby) Figueroa of Georgia; stepdaughters, Mary Coombs, Kimberly Coombs and Evelyn Neitzel of Georgia; brother, Clarence (Bernie) Wong of Florida; sisters, Eloise Waiwaiole of Las Vegas, Sharlene Barrett and Carolyn Nahinu of Oahu; 37 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. Paul David Lucas, 64, of Kailua-Kona died July 3 at home. Born in San Diego, he was a retired insurance agent, surfer, diver, fisherman and member of Grace Community Church. Wilbur Alfred “Weenee” Teixeira, 78, of Kaneohe, Oahu, formerly of Fern Acres, died May 6 in Honolulu. Born in Kapahulu, Oahu, he was retired from Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Ewa Villages Plantation Restoration. Among the survivors of the late Mary Alana Warren are four great-great-grandchildren. Their relationship to Ms. Warren was misidentified in an obituary published Friday.
